TIMELINESS OF A COMPLAINT - DON'T WAIT TILL IT'S TOO LATE

If you think you have a grievance, a complaint or are just not sure what your rights are, DO NOT wait to contact us; it is very important that you contact us as soon as possible.

In Article 34, Section 6 of the BUA, grievances will not be considered unless they are presented to the appropriate official twenty-one (21) calendar days AFTER THE INCIDENT WHICH GAVE RISE TO THE grievance or within twenty-one (21) calendar days after the grievant became aware of the matter that caused the grievance.

If you contact your local steward or Chief Steward Sharon Petroff, your questions and any assistance can be conducted off duty with no notice to management.
If you seek assistance on duty time, in accordance with Article 34, Section 3, please plan a time with the steward and request official time from your supervisor to meet with your steward.

If you have any questions, just remember the only stupid questions are the ones that aren't asked. Contact any of your stewards.
